Whistleblower Reveals Trump Official's Sugar Daddy Scandal
Whistleblower Exposes Trump Official's Sugar Daddy Ties

A 57-year-old software executive from the Washington, D.C. suburbs has come forward as the whistleblower who exposed a top Trump counterterrorism official's online search for sugar daddies, the Daily Mail can reveal.

Whistleblower Identified

Robert Bianchi, CEO of SDVO Solutions, agreed to be named after the Daily Mail's blockbuster article revealed he spent $40,000 on Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official Julia Varvaro during a three-month fling. Varvaro, 29, who has served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Counterterrorism since May 2025, was placed on administrative leave on Wednesday following the story's publication.

'I saw a major security risk and reported it,' Bianchi told the Daily Mail on Thursday. 'That's what you do.'

Bianchi, a divorced father, runs a software company that has supplied technology to DHS and other government agencies, securing multi-million dollar contracts that predated his relationship with Varvaro.

Lavish Spending

Bianchi claimed he took Varvaro on first-class trips to Aruba, Italy, San Diego, and South Carolina during their short time together. However, he said he could never spend enough to satisfy her. 'I did not want a sugar daddy/prostitution relationship, after spending $30,000-$40,000 for vacations, Cartier jewelry, expensive handbags, and various shopping trips,' he stated in an official complaint to the DHS Inspector General.

Varvaro, however, denied any wrongdoing. 'I didn't know it was bad to go on vacation with your boyfriend,' she told the Daily Mail. 'We were together in an exclusive relationship. We went on vacations. I don't know what's the problem with that.'

Sugar Daddy Profile

Bianchi's complaint revealed that Varvaro had a profile on the sugar daddy website 'Seeking,' where she called herself 'Alessia' and offered 'seductive sophistication.' The profile, which used the same photo as her Instagram, described her as 'flirty, fun, and fond of sultry spaces - mysterious lounges, velvet shadows, wine in hand…' and stated she is 'drawn to a masculine man who's attentive, protective, and quietly playful for mutually beneficial experiences.'

Varvaro denied having a profile on Seeking when questioned by the Daily Mail. The profile, set up the day after Thanksgiving last year, was removed after the Daily Mail initially reached out for comment.

Security Concerns

In his complaint, Bianchi expressed concern about Varvaro's financial stress and potential security risk. 'I believe that she's under financial stress and that her actions pose a security risk,' he wrote. He also accused her of consuming marijuana during their relationship, which she adamantly denies.

Security sources compared Varvaro's case to that of former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's cross-dressing husband. 'It's the same issue as Noem but on a much larger scale and I'd argue is actually worse because getting to Noem is much harder than picking off someone at the DAS level,' said one government source.

Former CIA officer Marc Polymeropoulos also found the claims troubling. 'Allegations of a sugar daddy relationship and unreported income from that relationship are serious issues for DHS security personnel that need to be resolved,' he told the Daily Mail. 'I would be curious to see what kind of vetting was done on her prior to her employment, given she would have been subject to a full background investigation. How did this not come up?'

Official Response

A DHS spokesperson declined to comment on internal investigations. The Inspector General's office would neither confirm nor deny an ongoing investigation.

Varvaro has been active at MAGA events, posting photos with Trump and Trump loyalist Paul Ingrassia. She earned her doctoral degree in Homeland Security from St. John's University in 2024 and was appointed to her senior DHS position at age 28.
