Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has expressed delight after Fox News aired a clip of her mocking White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller's height, forcing him to watch it live on air.
During an Instagram livestream on Sunday, Ocasio-Cortez urged opponents of the Trump administration to ridicule the 'insecure masculinity' of its hierarchy, calling Miller a 'clown' and repeatedly suggesting he was only 4 feet 10 inches tall. 'I've never seen that guy in real life, but he looks like he's, like, 4 feet 10 inches,' she said.
Fox host Laura Ingraham played the clip on The Ingraham Angle on Monday evening, prompting a fumbled response from Miller. 'Well, we knew that her brain didn't work. Now we know her eyes don't work. So, the… she's a mess, right? What a trainwreck,' he stammered.
Ingraham later asked Miller his actual height, to which he replied 5 feet 10 inches. 'So 4-10? I don't know what she can't see…' she said. Ocasio-Cortez responded on X: 'I cannot believe they aired this and made him listen to it live. I am crying.'
According to Mediaite, Fox hosts Sean Hannity and Jesse Watters also discussed the clip, offering fact-checks. Ocasio-Cortez defended her use of mockery, saying it is a powerful tool against a political movement 'predicated on the puffery of insecure men'.
