Vanessa Trump Furious with Tiger Woods After Car Crash, Issues Stern Warning
Tiger Woods' already disastrous night reportedly deteriorated even further after his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, issued a firm warning in the wake of his two-vehicle rollover crash. On Friday, Woods was arrested and taken to a police station in Florida, where he underwent processing for three misdemeanour offences: DUI, property damage and refusing to take a urine test.
Details of the Florida Car Crash
Around 2pm local time, he had been heading north on a two-lane road close to his home in Jupiter when a pickup truck pulling a pressure cleaner trailer began slowing down to make a turn into a driveway. As per local sheriff John Budensiek, Woods - driving a Range Rover - was moving at a high rate of speed, which prevented the pickup driver from completely clearing the road. In a last-moment effort to pass, the golf legend struck the trailer, causing his SUV to roll onto its side.
After the crash, Woods reportedly exited the vehicle through the passenger-side door. Fortunately, no individuals involved in the accident were injured. He was then required to remain in custody for a mandatory eight-hour period before a close friend was able to post bail for him at roughly 11pm local time.
Vanessa Trump's Reaction and Ultimatum
When he arrived back home from the Martin County Public Safety Complex, the 50-year-old was reportedly greeted at the door by Trump, who had deliberately stayed awake to meet him. According to a source who spoke with the Daily Mail, Trump made little effort to hide her frustration with Woods and his unpredictable conduct.
"She's not happy at all," the insider said. "She's both disappointed and a little bit p*ssed, if I'm being honest. It's a definite red flag." And she told him that he's going to get this sorted out and that she's going to require that. He has to get things under control, or she's not going to stick around.
While the source avoided directly calling the exchange an "ultimatum," they indicated that Trump - who was married to US President Donald Trump between 2005 and 2018 - warned she would leave Woods if he failed to straighten himself out.
"This is a concerned girlfriend expressing boundaries and saying that he's got to get his s*** together, like right now," the source continued. "He's very apologetic, from what I've heard. [He] wants to fix this. He's embarrassed, he's mortified at all this... and this is really humiliating for it to happen again. And Vanessa is embarrassed too. All her friends are like, 'Girl, what the hell?'"
Future of the Relationship and Potential Rehab
As for the future of Woods and Trump's relationship, the outlet's insider suggested it may not be long before the 15-time major winner seeks professional help through rehab. "Yeah, expect him to go into treatment soon," they said. "They don't argue very much, and she didn't exactly say that they're fighting, but she's making her feelings abundantly clear. There's no mistaking that this is a big deal to her."
The incident has sparked widespread concern among friends and fans, highlighting the pressures facing the golf icon. With legal proceedings pending and personal relationships strained, Woods faces a critical juncture in both his career and private life.
