Coronation Street viewers are speculating that Sam Blakeman may have accidentally killed Theo Silverton, amid new theories about the murder mystery. The character, played by Jude Riordan, has been experiencing hallucinations, leading fans to believe he could have pushed Theo off scaffolding while in a delusional state, mistaking him for his late father Will.
One fan posted online: 'I'm saying Sam.' Another viewer said: 'I think Sam killed Theo during one of his mental health breakdowns.' A third added: 'I think Sam pushes Theo (thinking he was Will), and Summer is covering for him.' The theory gained traction as another fan noted: 'Was that scene of Sam hallucinating with the view of the scaffolding a hint to him being the killer of Theo thinking he was Will?'
Meanwhile, Christina Boyd has also come under suspicion after being caught lying to the police about her whereabouts on the night of the murder. Her shifty behaviour has led viewers to question whether she is the real killer. One fan said: 'Maybe Christina dealt the final blow as she's been sounding very shifty. Summer feels too obvious for me.' Another agreed: 'Christina killed Theo.'
Next week's episodes will see Theo's ex-wife Danielle Silverton face accusations, with Tracy Barlow speculating that Danielle is guilty. When Todd Grimshaw refuses to attend Theo's funeral, Danielle accuses him of being the killer, but Ryan Connor drops an admission about Danielle, leading to her being taken in for questioning.
Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
