Strictly Come Dancing has unveiled its new presenting trio: Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe. The three will take over from Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, who left the show after the last series.
Emma Willis, known for hosting The Voice UK, said she is a 'huge fan' and 'can't quite believe' she will be stepping into the Strictly ballroom. Strictly executive producer Sarah James praised Willis for her 'wealth of presenting experience and natural warmth'.
Comedian Josh Widdicombe, who participated in the 2024 Christmas Special, described himself as 'giddy with excitement'. Strictly bosses noted his 'self-deprecating humour and razor-sharp wit' during the audition process.
Professional dancer Johannes Radebe, a Strictly pro since 2018, said returning in this new role is 'beyond anything I ever imagined'. He added: 'This show has always stood for joy, heart, and togetherness, and I feel deeply honoured to now help carry that magic forward.'
BBC chief content officer Kate Phillips said the trio's 'chemistry is undeniable' and thanked all the candidates considered. The judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke will all return for the new series in the autumn.
