Jack Osbourne Slams 'Insane' Reports About His Weight Loss
Jack Osbourne Slams 'Insane' Weight Loss Reports

Jack Osbourne, the youngest son of the late Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne, has fiercely criticised what he describes as 'insane' media reports regarding his physical appearance. The 40-year-old reality television star, who participated in the British survival programme I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! last November, addressed recent articles that questioned his weight in a strongly worded Instagram video on Wednesday.

Jack Osbourne Responds to Weight Speculation

In the video, Jack expressed his disbelief at having to defend himself. 'I cannot believe I’m having to actually make this f***ing video,' he stated. 'If I see one more article written about me saying how I’m “sick,” I’m “grossly underweight”, [that I’m] “health crisis Jack”… It’s f***ing insane.' He insisted that his weight has remained stable since completing the Australian-based show over six months ago. 'I’ve been the same f***ing weight. The only difference is I shaved my beard and opted for a creepy mustache. That’s the only f***ing difference.'

Details of His Weight Loss Journey

Jack clarified that his weight loss was not a sudden change but a gradual process over several years. 'I’ve been consistently, but slowly, losing weight for the last three and a half years. I shot up to about 220 lbs three and a half years ago and decided that I wanted to make some changes. So I did! What’s the big f***ing deal?' He added that at 5 foot 8 and a half inches and 155 lbs, his weight is 'perfectly healthy'.

He expressed frustration at the media's double standards, recalling how he was previously criticised for being overweight. 'The fact that I even have to say this blows my mind. My entire life, I was just brutalized by the press about being overweight. And the fact that I get down to a healthy weight, now I’m criticized even more? Get f***ed! This is why no one trusts the press.'

Background on the Osbourne Family

Jack first appeared on television at age 15 in the family's reality series The Osbournes, which ran for four seasons until 2005. The MTV show documented the daily lives of Ozzy, Sharon, and their children Jack and Kelly. Their eldest daughter, Aimee, chose not to participate to maintain her privacy. Ozzy Osbourne, known as The Prince of Darkness, died last July at age 76 from a heart attack. He had been married to Sharon, a former X Factor judge, for 43 years. Before Sharon, Ozzy was married to Thelma Riley from 1971 to 1982, with whom he had three children: Jessica, Louis, and Elliot, whom he adopted.
