Jake Bongiovi Faces 'Manchild' Accusations Over Travel Habits
Jake Bongiovi Accused of Being 'Manchild' Over Travel

Millie Bobby Brown has inadvertently sparked a wave of criticism against her husband, Jake Bongiovi, after sharing his annoying travel habit in an interview. The 22-year-old Enola Holmes star and the 24-year-old son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi married in May 2024 and adopted a baby girl in August of that year.

Travel Pet Peeve Revealed

In an August 2025 interview for Crocs, which recently resurfaced on social media, Brown described her biggest travel pet peeve. 'My husband, he doesn't pack any clothes, just ever,' she said. 'So we'll leave, and I'll have a big suitcase, and he has nothing with him. Just his phone, never really a charger. Usually, he just steals mine and then takes his computer. Then he goes, 'Mill, I don't have any clothes.' And I go, 'No s***, Sherlock. You didn't pack anything.' And he goes, 'Yeah, I don't know. Maybe I'll just have to go shopping here.' And that is where he gets you. So he likes to not pack, to then go to a place to go shop for the trip that he didn't pack for.'

Social Media Backlash

On X, where a clip of the interview has amassed over 6 million views, users did not take kindly to the revelation. Critics accused Bongiovi of being a 'manchild' and 'entitled.' One person wrote, 'I actually can’t even fathom her being okay with his,' earning 46,000 likes. Another fumed, 'Millie B. Brown shouldn’t be mothering her husband. Literally every time something comes out about them: a photo, a video, an interview, etc., it’s Millie who does everything like a functional adult, and then there's him acting like a 10-year-old kid.'

A third commenter added, 'She’s worked since she was an actual child for everything she has and he was just birthed into it with no worries in life.' Others wrote, 'He’s such a manchild sorry,' and 'Millie Bobby Brown you are an amazing woman and deserve better than that useless entitled man child you sadly call a husband.'

Previous Comments on Shopping

The Stranger Things alum has previously spoken about her husband's shopping tendencies. During a 2025 episode of Call Her Daddy, Brown said Bongiovi was the one who 'splurged' on big purchases. 'I’ll be like, 'Oh, I need socks.' And he’ll be like, 'Let's go to Prada,' she told host Alex Cooper. 'And I’m like, 'Let’s go to Target.' He’s just that kind of guy. He loves to go shopping. He will refuse to pack a suitcase because he likes to go shopping at the place we’re going. Where I’m like, 'Amazon Basics.' I love that. When I do spend money on something, I have to call my parents. I have to think about it. I don’t just buy it right away.'
