Jennifer Lopez has confessed to feeling jealous when others flirt with her husband, Ben Affleck, during a recent television appearance. The 54-year-old singer and actress made the admission while playing a game called 'This Is Me... Now... or Then?' on the Today show with Hoda Kotb.
When asked whether she gets jealous if someone hits on her significant other, Lopez immediately displayed the 'NOW' paddle and warned, 'Don't play with me. Do not play with me.' She added that she would advise any would-be flirts to 'step all the way off' in a calm, elegant manner.
Lopez also revealed that she no longer needs the last word in an argument and still enjoys staying out late for work or fun, including dancing on tables and wearing crop tops. The comments come as she promotes three new projects: a musical film, an album, and a documentary chronicling their creation.
In a separate interview on The Kyle And Jackie O Show, Lopez reflected on her journey to reunite with Affleck, saying it took nearly two decades to 'figure herself out' before the 'universe opened up' for them. The couple, who were engaged in the early 2000s, split in 2004 before reuniting in July 2021 and marrying in Las Vegas in July 2022.
Lopez credited her children, twins Max and Emme, 16, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, for helping her grow as a person. Affleck, 51, has two daughters from his marriage to Jennifer Garner. Lopez described her divorce as a catalyst for further self-discovery.
