Katie Price has reportedly been asked to make a television appeal for information regarding her missing husband, Lee Andrews. The former glamour model, 48, married the Dubai-based businessman in January, just two weeks after meeting him. He has not been seen since failing to appear with her on Good Morning Britain almost a fortnight ago.
A source told The Sun that Price has been in daily contact with police and was asked on Friday to make an official TV appeal. The source said: 'It all feels very surreal and like the thing you’d see on an ITV primetime drama.' Price is said to be fearful of a kidnapping but is willing to help, even if it means launching an international manhunt.
Price released a voice note in which she attempts to contact her father-in-law, Peter, to update him on Lee's whereabouts. In a YouTube video titled 'Katie Price Vlog: The morning after my husband goes MISSING,' she claimed Lee told her his 'kidnappers' took two of his phones but he had a secret third one to contact her.
However, Lee's father has claimed his son is not missing but is under arrest. He said: 'Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don’t know on what charge.' The Mirror has contacted Katie's representatives for comment.
