Love Island's George Knight Quits Villa Days After Entering

Love Island contestant George Knight has abruptly departed the villa, citing 'private reasons,' just days after his arrival as a bombshell. The 28-year-old professional footballer from Winchester entered the ITV reality show on Tuesday's episode.

He was tasked with a secret mission alongside fellow bombshell Yasmin Hadlow, 23, to dump two islanders within 24 hours. An ITV spokesperson said: 'For private reasons, George has left the Love Island villa.'

On Tuesday’s show, Knight got to know his fellow contestants and made a move on quantity surveyor Robyn Langton, 21, asking if she wanted to share a bed with him in the hideaway. Langton, who is currently coupled up with electrician Samuel Workman, 25, told him the move was 'ballsy' and declined the offer.

The episode ended with Knight and Hadlow left to decide which boy and girl they would dump from the island. A preview for Wednesday’s episode showed the islanders in shock as they learned about the bombshells’ secret mission.
