MAFS Australia's 'Greatest Season Ever' Gets UK Premiere Date

Married At First Sight Australia's UK launch date has been confirmed, with what is being hailed as the 'greatest season ever' set to air on E4 from Monday, March 9 at 7:30pm. The new series promises 'unparalleled drama' and 'unforgettable moments' as nine new couples tie the knot on their first meeting.

The season will introduce new twists, including 'Revelations Week' and the return of 'Final Test Week' from the previous series. The show's experts—sexologist Alessandra Rampolla and relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling—will also return to guide the couples through the social experiment.

The brides include nurse and social media manager Alissa, 33, who is ready to commit after a six-year relationship ended last year; account manager Bec, 35, twice voted Adelaide's 'most eligible bachelorette'; and model Brook, 27, who has been cheated on by almost every partner. They are joined by disability support worker Gia, 35, confidence consultant Julia, 35, public servant Mel, 28, team leader Rachel, 35, leasing manager Rebecca, 51, and beauty technician Stella, 32.

Among the grooms are construction supervisor Chris, 31, who is sceptical about the experiment; real estate worker Danny, 34, looking to change his 'player' ways; and Croatian-born carpenter Fillip, 37, who seeks a partner who understands his early morning gym and cold plunge routine. The line-up also includes company director Grayson, 34, farmer Luke, 30, business owner Scott, 33, creative director Steve, 50, and marine technician Steve, 34.

Expert Mel Schilling commented: 'One of the great challenges for our couples is to let go of old behaviour patterns... Our couples need to unlearn old habits, trust the process and take risks.' John Aiken added: 'My role has become very clear, to give out hard-hitting advice to the couples and hold them accountable.'
