Fans of Married At First Sight Australia have been closely monitoring Bec Zacharia's social media activity amid swirling dating rumours. The reality star, who appeared on Season 13 of the hit show, has now addressed the speculation while also revealing a new career move.
Bec's Journey on MAFS Australia
The hugely popular reality programme is drawing to a close for British audiences on E4, though the off-screen drama shows no signs of slowing down. With only a handful of couples remaining, the much-anticipated Final Vows are set to air this week. Following the tried-and-tested formula of previous series, this latest instalment brings together a group of singletons who hand over their love lives to a panel of relationship experts, including the late Mel Schilling, Alessandra Rampolla and John Aiken.

Among the participants was Bec Zacharia, who was matched with Danny Hewitt. The pair met for the very first time on their wedding day, but their initial encounter got off to a rocky start, with the groom's attempts at humour failing to land, reports OK!. Despite this, Bec eventually uttered those three little words, 'I love you', at the fourth commitment ceremony, while Danny confessed he "had strong feelings" for her.
Without giving away the outcome of the Final Vows, it will come as little surprise to viewers that Bec and Danny failed to make it work. So has she moved on? Here is everything we know.
Who is Bec from MAFS with now?
Since wrapping up filming, there appears to be no new love interest in Bec's life at the time of writing — or at least, none that she has made public on her social media channels. That said, there has been no shortage of speculation and whispers about potential love interests, including suggestions she had grown closer to a fellow MAFS Australia alumnus.
Off-screen, Bec posted a snap from former co-star Joel Moses, who featured on the programme alongside Juliette. After cameras stopped rolling, eagle-eyed supporters noticed that the duo had been hanging out together. One particular photo that did the rounds online appeared to show Joel enjoying a beverage, seemingly in Singapore. The pair eventually tackled the gossip head-on by sharing playful snaps where they staged mock kisses. Joel himself even chimed in with a comment asking: "Why does everyone think Bec and I are dating? Should we?"
Bec also took to TikTok live to clarify matters, explaining: "Everyone thinks Joel and I are dating because we are just, like, best mates, and we're having lunches together and getting photographed. But no, we're not dating... he wishes. Nah, I'm just kidding."
Only last week, some followers jumped to conclusions when Bec uploaded a photograph of herself standing beside a gentleman, captioned "Birthday Husband. We absolutely adore you." Yet it appears this chap is simply a mate. One optimistic fan commented: "That's it mate! Now we're talking" but Bec clarified: "he is my gay husband babe x"
In a recent Instagram story, Bec disclosed that she had jetted from her hometown of Adelaide to Sydney. Her next post captured her tucking into a meal, with reality TV personality Marcus Rich tagged in the snap. Rich features in the online series Flex, which drops episodes across social media platforms. On his profile, he describes himself as a former escort and mentions that followers have suggested he would be perfect for MAFS. While he shared Bec's post on his own page, the nature of their connection remains unclear.
Bec's New Career Move
Meanwhile, Bec has secured fresh employment. She had previously revealed losing her sales role following her appearance on television. But her stint on MAFS has opened new doors, landing her an agony aunt column at Adelaide newspaper The Advertiser.
Married At First Sight continues tonight at 7.30pm on E4 and streaming on Channel 4.
