Man Claims He Met Jesus in Heaven After Accident

A man who claims he was 'suctioned' into Heaven after a near-death experience says he came 'face to face' with Jesus Christ. Gabe Poirot suffered a catastrophic brain injury in October 2021 while riding an electric skateboard without a helmet. He hit a bump in the road and fell directly on his head, causing his skull to come under immense pressure. Doctors were uncertain if they could save his life, and he fell into a coma that lasted 18 days.

Encounter with Jesus

Speaking to podcaster Lila Rose, Poirot described ascending into Heaven and meeting Jesus. He described Jesus as about 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall, with darker-toned skin, resembling Middle Eastern features, yet appearing eternal. Jesus had medium-length, slightly curly hair. Poirot struggled to put the experience into words, emphasizing that no image can do Jesus justice. He noted that the Shroud of Turin is the best representation of Christ's appearance, but it remains a faded, imperfect image.

Heaven's Indescribable Nature

Poirot explained that Heaven itself cannot be described in conventional terms. While it resembles a city, it is an aspect of God. He recalled seeing mansions, buildings, monuments, and libraries, all of which speak of God. In the libraries, the pages themselves are God, and the letters are beautiful. He stressed that the experience was beyond human language.

Miraculous Recovery

After 18 days in a coma, Poirot regained consciousness, saying 'the Spirit of the Lord woke me up.' His recovery was rapid, with his memory being 'downloaded back into my brain over a couple of days.' Within weeks, he left the hospital and resumed his life. A devout Christian before the accident, Poirot now dedicates his life to sharing his story. He claims that while in Heaven, he was shown that conflicts between people are inspired by demonic forces, and that humans should not war against each other but against spiritual forces.
