Paloma Faith's Bizarre Bafta Hat Sparks Viewer Fury

Singer Paloma Faith has sparked outrage among BBC viewers after wearing an oversized bicorne hat to the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday, May 10. The 44-year-old arrived on the red carpet alongside Celebrity Traitors co-star Alan Carr, sporting a black fringed gown and a large headpiece secured under her chin with a ribbon.

Once seated next to Carr, Faith kept the hat on, prompting complaints from viewers who said anyone behind her would have struggled to see the stage. On X, one frustrated user wrote: 'How f*****g inconsiderate and entitled do you have to be to wear that massive hat? I'd be p****d sitting behind her.' Another added: 'Thoughts and prayers for whomever is sat behind Paloma Faith tonight at the BAFTAs. They're not going to see anything on stage as she's wearing Admiral Nelson hat on her head.'

The backlash continued with comments such as 'What the f**k is Paloma Faith wearing on her head? Pity the poor beggar sat behind her' and 'The person sat behind Paloma Faith must be raging.' A further viewer echoed: 'I’d be pretty p****d if I was sat behind Paloma Faith in that hat.'
