Storage Wars star Darrell Sheets passed away last month at the age of 67, with his death ruled as suicide. Now, police are reportedly analysing his phone as part of an investigation into allegations of cyberbullying.
Confirmation of Suicide
On Tuesday, the Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office in Arizona confirmed that Sheets died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Authorities are looking into his phone following claims of cyberbullying.
A police statement said: "The Lake Havasu City Police Department has received confirmation from the Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office that the manner of death in the investigation involving Darrell Sheets has been ruled a suicide, pending the completion of toxicology results."
The statement, obtained by Us Weekly, continued: "Our agency continues to actively investigate allegations of cyberbullying associated with this case. The Criminal Investigations Unit has submitted Darrell Sheets' cellular phone for forensic analysis and is currently awaiting the results."
Police added: "This investigative step is essential to advancing the case." Officers had responded to a report of a deceased person at his home last month. Sheets was pronounced dead at the scene.
Details of the Incident
The Lake Havasu Police Department in Arizona said: "On April 22, 2026, at approximately 0200 hours, officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of Chandler Drive in reference to a reported deceased individual."
"Upon arrival, officers located a male subject who suffered from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The male was pronounced deceased on scene and the Lake Havasu City Police Department's Criminal Investigations Unit was notified and responded to the scene to assume the investigation."
The statement continued: "The body was ultimately turned over to the Mohave County Medical Examiner's office for further investigation. The male subject has been identified as Darrell Sheets, a 67-year-old resident of Lake Havasu City and Darrell's family has been notified."

The reality TV star was a favourite on the long-running series Storage Wars. Known as "The Gambler" for his often risky purchases, he remained popular with viewers due to his big gambles on the show. Sheets was part of the main cast for 13 years, from 2010 to 2023.
