The Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office in Arizona has officially ruled the death of Darrell Sheets, star of the reality television series Storage Wars, as a suicide. According to TMZ, the determination was made following an investigation by the Lake Havasu Police Department, which previously indicated that Sheets appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Law enforcement responded to a call regarding a deceased individual at Sheets' residence in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 22. A press release obtained by The Daily Mail stated, "The male subject has been identified as Darrell Sheets, a 67-year-old resident of Lake Havasu City and Darrell's family has been notified." Sheets was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was taken to the Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office for further examination.
