Shocking CCTV footage has emerged showing Jamie and Rebekah Vardy's Italian villa being ransacked by masked intruders. The couple, who recently moved to Italy for Jamie's football career, were targeted while attending his match for Cremonese. Thieves armed with crowbars stole cash, watches, and jewellery worth £80,000.
Rebekah Vardy described the ordeal as a 'nightmare' and one of her biggest fears. 'I knew someone had been in and taken my stuff. You can clearly see five armed guys with crow bars, balaclavas,' she said on the couple's new reality TV show. 'Right now I feel totally violated.'
The break-in occurred at their Lake Garda villa, and the family realised something was wrong immediately upon returning home. The footage, featured in their ITV series, shows the intruders moving through the bedroom.
Rebekah also spoke about the challenges of relocating, calling it 'subconsciously quite triggering' due to her parents' divorce when she was young. 'It takes me back to when I was younger... we ended up moving around quite a bit,' she explained. Despite the difficulties, she emphasised the importance of keeping the family together.
