Fury as Andrew Tate's Boxing Debut Stream Plagued by Glitches
Fans fume over Andrew Tate fight stream problems

Boxing fans have been left seething after a glitch-ridden live stream marred the highly anticipated professional boxing debut of controversial influencer Andrew Tate.

Technical Meltdown on Rumble

The event, which saw Tate face Misfits heavyweight champion Chase DeMoor on Saturday, 20th December 2025, was broadcast on the streaming platform Rumble. However, viewers who paid for the pay-per-view reported an unbearable viewing experience, with the feed constantly lagging and freezing.

Social media quickly flooded with complaints from furious subscribers. One user directly addressed the organisers, stating: "Yo Misfits Boxing need to fix this Rumble stream lagging every 10 seconds." Another echoed the sentiment, complaining about "The quality and lag of the stream on rumble" and demanding they "Sort it out!!!"

Viewers Demand Refunds

The frustration escalated as fans felt short-changed for the premium event. One angry viewer declared: "Never let Rumble stream Misfits again it’s so laggy," while another called for financial redress, stating: "A freezing stream, I wont be watching another misfits event on Rumble. Refunds are required, $30 and this type of quality is taking the p***."

Interestingly, some noted the issue appeared isolated to the boxing broadcast. A fan pointed out: "Why is your stream glitchy? Everything else on Rumble is fine," suggesting the fault lay with the event's specific stream rather than the platform as a whole.

The Fight Behind the Fiasco

The technical problems overshadowed what was a significant sporting moment. Andrew Tate, a former world champion in kickboxing, was making his first foray into professional boxing five years after retiring from his primary combat sport. Despite his layoff, he entered the ring as the favourite.

His opponent, Chase DeMoor, was the reigning Misfits heavyweight champion, defending his title for the first time since winning it last year. The bout on Saturday night marked DeMoor's seventh fight of 2025, as he aimed to retain his belt heading into 2026.

The streaming debacle has cast a significant shadow over Misfits' final boxing card of the year, turning what should have been a celebratory event into a public relations nightmare and leaving a large audience of paying customers deeply dissatisfied.
