Arsenal have secured the services of prolific Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon in a deal that could reach £50m with add-ons. The 26-year-old has signed a long-term contract with the Gunners, marking one of the most significant transfers of the summer window.

The former Coventry City forward enjoyed a sensational season in Portugal, netting 29 goals in all competitions for Sporting. His clinical finishing and physical presence made him one of Europe's most sought-after strikers this summer.
