Terminally ill actress Lynda Bellingham made an emotional final appearance on ITV's Loose Women, just days before her death on Sunday. The 66-year-old, best known for her role as the Oxo mum and as a Loose Women panellist, received a standing ovation from the audience as she walked out.
Wearing a cheerful pink top, Bellingham told the crowd: 'Enough! We've got so much to chat about.' She then joined Coleen Nolan and Janet Street Porter on the sofa to discuss her decision to stop chemotherapy after being diagnosed with colon cancer in June 2013.
During the heartfelt episode, Nolan broke down in tears as she asked Bellingham how she would like to be remembered. Bellingham replied: 'Just an honest person.' She comforted Nolan, saying: 'Please don't cry... it will be fine!'
Bellingham's husband, Michael, was also in the audience and was moved to tears by his wife's bravery. The actress passed away peacefully in his arms at a London hospital on Sunday.
In a statement, her agent Sue Latimer said: 'Lynda died peacefully in her husband's arms yesterday at a London hospital. Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff for their tremendous care and support.'
