Harriet Cowan, who appeared as a temporary farmhand on the fourth series of Clarkson's Farm, has hinted she may return for the upcoming fifth season. The Derbyshire-based nurse left the show last May after Kaleb Cooper returned from his tour, but she has since given up nursing to focus on TV projects and social media.
Speaking on the Fed by Farmers podcast, Cowan explained her decision to quit nursing: 'I've given up nursing because I was going into people's houses and I was getting recognised as that girl off the telly. I was supposed to be there as a professional nurse – there were people dying at the end of the day.' She added that juggling social media, nursing, farming and brand deals became too stressful.
When asked directly about returning to series five of the Prime Video show, Cowan teased: 'I'm not allowed to say, you'll have to see. It's top secret.' She also revealed she has 'a few new TV things coming off too' and has secured a brand deal with Aldi for British beef.
Clarkson's Farm season five is confirmed to premiere on Wednesday 3 June, with two additional episodes on 10 June and the final two on 17 June. The synopsis teases that Jeremy Clarkson implements big changes to improve farm efficiency, including Kaleb's first trip abroad, amid a government budget that upsets the farming community.
