The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to be the largest in history, with 48 teams competing across 104 matches. England will begin their Group L campaign against Croatia in Dallas, with the match kicking off at 9pm BST on Wednesday 17 June.
The BBC will broadcast 54 matches live on TV, but fans can follow all 104 matches across the BBC’s digital platforms, including iPlayer, BBC Sounds, the BBC Sport website and app, and the new BBC Sport Football YouTube channel. Coverage will also be available via social media.
Kelly Cates will present build-up to England vs Croatia on BBC Radio 5 Live from 8pm BST, with the match commentary available on 5 Live and BBC Sounds. For the first time, the BBC will live stream build-up and the opening 10 minutes of its biggest matches on its YouTube and TikTok channels.
Listeners can tune in to BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds for full commentary. The BBC Sport website and app will also provide live text updates, video highlights, and analysis throughout the tournament.
