Crystal Palace Extend Unbeaten Run with Conference League Win Over Dynamo Kyiv

Crystal Palace marked their first appearance in the main phase of a European competition with a comfortable victory over Dynamo Kyiv, extending their unbeaten run to 19 games in all competitions. Goals from Daniel Muñoz and substitute Eddie Nketiah secured the win in Wrocław, Poland, despite a late red card for Borna Sosa.

The result sets a new club record for consecutive matches without defeat, surpassing the previous mark set in 1969 under manager Bert Head. Palace's 3,500 travelling supporters witnessed a dominant performance against a Kyiv side weakened by the ongoing war with Russia.

Muñoz opened the scoring in the first half with a looping header from a cross by Yeremy Pino. After the break, Nketiah volleyed in Pino's cross to double the lead, having earlier had a goal ruled out for offside. Sosa was sent off for a second yellow card late on, but Palace's defence held firm to secure the win.

Manager Oliver Glasner praised his side's performance but looked ahead to their next match against Everton. "I'm proud that we could start the Conference League with a win, away, against very good opposition," he said. "I don't think about this run; it's important what comes next."
