England World Cup 2026 Group L Fixtures: Dates, Times

England's fixtures for the 2026 World Cup Group L have been confirmed, with the Three Lions set to face Croatia, Ghana, and Panama. The tournament will be hosted across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Group Stage Matches

England will kick off their campaign against Croatia on June 17 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The match is scheduled for 4pm ET (9pm BST). Croatia famously eliminated England in the 2018 World Cup semi-finals, adding extra spice to this opener.

On June 23, England will take on Ghana at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, also at 4pm ET (9pm BST). This will be the first competitive meeting between the two sides.

The group stage concludes on June 27 against Panama at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with a 5pm ET (10pm BST) kick-off. England previously beat Panama 6-1 in the 2018 World Cup group stage.

Tournament Context

Thomas Tuchel's side are among the favourites for the tournament and were placed in Pot 1 alongside the three co-hosts and other top-ranked nations. Should England win Group L, they would face a third-place team in the round of 32 on July 1 in Atlanta. Topping the group would also avoid potential clashes with fellow top seeds Argentina, Spain, or France until the semi-finals, assuming those sides also win their groups.
