Senne Lammens' Training Ground Dedication Impresses Man Utd Staff

Senne Lammens has revealed the training ground behaviour that caught Manchester United staff by surprise. The Belgian goalkeeper, who joined the club from Royal Antwerp for £18.2 million on deadline day last summer, has become a key figure under head coach Ruben Amorim.

Lammens, 23, made his debut in a 2-0 win over Sunderland and has since played every match, keeping five clean sheets. His work ethic has impressed both fans and management. Speaking on Ben Foster's 'Fozcast' podcast, Lammens said he often stays late at Carrington to use the facilities, including the swimming pool, sauna and ice bath.

“I live alone here at the minute. I don't really want to be home at 1 o'clock and doing nothing the rest of my day. We have the capabilities like a swimming pool, sauna and ice bath, we have it here, so why not take full use of it?” he said. “I try to take my time with it, most of the time [I'm] the last guy here.”

Insiders at United praised Lammens' dedication and maturity, despite his limited top-level experience. His brother Tom revealed that Senne had attracted interest from Galatasaray but chose United after being impressed by the club's scouting and the feeling he got from them.
