Ben Tozer has backed Kieffer Moore's bold claim that Wrexham can secure a Championship play-off place this season. The former Wrexham captain, who won back-to-back promotions with the club, believes Moore's experience will be crucial to achieving that goal.
Wrexham's recent form has been impressive, with seven points from their last three games, including a stunning 3-2 victory over league leaders Coventry City. Moore scored a hat-trick in that match, taking his tally to nine goals in 15 appearances since joining from Sheffield United.
Tozer, speaking on talkSPORT's EFL All Access podcast, said: 'He will know better than anyone because he was at Sheffield United last year and he knows what it takes to be right at the top of the league. He's been promoted from the division before as well.'
Wrexham currently sit 15th in the table, five points off the play-off places. Moore, who has played in the Premier League, said: 'We're stacked in every position, we've got quality everywhere. I look at this team and say we can 100 per cent be in those play-off positions.'
