The LPGA Tour is set to kick off its 2026 season with a spectacular blend of world-class sport and A-list entertainment. The Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, which tees off next month at Lake Nona in Orlando, Florida, has revealed an impressive roster of celebrities who will compete alongside the tour's top professionals.
A Glittering Array of Sporting and Entertainment Icons
An exclusive list confirms that the celebrity field will be headlined by a remarkable mix of talent from across the sports and entertainment worlds. New York Mets star Jeff McNeil returns after a strong showing last year, aiming to go one better and claim the $500,000 celebrity prize purse. He will be joined by the reigning 2025 celebrity champion, former NHL All-Star Joe Pavelski, who is back to defend his title.
The sporting contingent is particularly strong, featuring legends such as World Series winner Roger Clemens, Pro Football Hall of Famers Marcus Allen, Emmitt Smith, and Brian Urlacher, Olympic tennis medalist Mardy Fish, and NBA champions Ray Allen and JR Smith. From the world of television, Dancing with the Stars host Alfonso Ribeiro and The Bachelor personalities Wells Adams and Joey Graziadei will take to the course, alongside fan favourite comedian Larry The Cable Guy.
Elite Professional Field and Unique Tournament Format
This unique event pairs each celebrity with two of the LPGA's finest players throughout the tournament. The professional field is exceptionally exclusive, with entry restricted only to players who have won an LPGA event in the past two years or are members of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
This ensures a gathering of the absolute best in women's golf. World number one Nelly Korda is scheduled to compete, as is the 2025 tournament champion A Lim Kim. They will be battling for a share of the $2.1 million professional prize fund.
Beyond the competition, the tournament promises a full entertainment experience for fans attending at Lake Nona. A three-night concert series will feature performances from major artists including Kelly Clarkson, The Beach Boys, and Ella Langley.
A Signature Event Celebrating Excellence
The tournament, one of the most-watched on the LPGA calendar with coverage across The Golf Channel, NBC, and Peacock, is celebrated for its distinctive atmosphere. Mark Wang, CEO of Hilton Grand Vacations, emphasised the event's broader appeal, stating it is "more than a competition - it’s a signature experience that reflects our commitment to delivering world-class hospitality and unforgettable moments."
With a combination of elite golf, celebrity competition, and live music, the 2026 HGV Tournament of Champions is poised to deliver an unforgettable start to the new LPGA season.
