A native of Cleveland who attended the prestigious local football programme at Saint Ignatius High School, Gannon's football journey includes playing safety at the University of Louisville. He subsequently embarked on a coaching career that has taken him across the league, with assistant roles for the Atlanta Falcons, Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings, Indianapolis Colts, and Philadelphia Eagles. His time with the Eagles was particularly notable, as he contributed to the team's successful 2022 season, which culminated in an NFC Championship victory and a Super Bowl appearance.
In Green Bay, Gannon will inherit responsibility for a defensive unit spearheaded by the formidable Micah Parsons.
