Hosts Kick Off in Perth
The opening match will see Australia face Hong Kong at Perth Stadium on Thursday, 1st October 2027. This sets the stage for a highly anticipated clash with arch-rivals New Zealand just over a week later in Sydney on Saturday, 9th October.
Home Nations' Campaigns Begin
England, under coach Steve Borthwick, will start their quest in Brisbane against Tonga on Saturday, 2nd October. Wales, sharing Pool F with England, begin their tournament on the same day in Adelaide against Zimbabwe.
Ireland, aiming for a long-awaited World Cup breakthrough under Andy Farrell, launch their campaign against Portugal at Sydney Football Stadium on Monday, 4th October. Scotland, also in Pool D, face Uruguay in Melbourne on Sunday, 3rd October.

Knockout Phase Schedule
The tournament progresses to a Round of 16 on the weekend of 23rd-24th October, followed by the quarter-finals on 30th-31st October. The semi-finals are scheduled for Friday, 5th November and Saturday, 6th November at Stadium Australia in Sydney.
