Jamie Murray Divorces Wife of 15 Years and Joins Celebrity Dating App Raya

British tennis star Jamie Murray has divorced his wife Alejandra Gutierrez after 15 years of marriage, according to reports. The couple, who share a three-year-old daughter named Ava, were granted a divorce on 22 August 2025.

Jamie, 39, a former world doubles number one and seven-time Grand Slam champion, has reportedly joined the celebrity dating app Raya. His profile features a picture of him playing tennis with his brother, Sir Andy Murray, and describes him as an athlete who 'travels the world playing tennis'.

A family friend told The Sun: 'It's a really sad situation. They're working hard to make it as amicable as possible between them at this stage. Jamie's started to make moves towards meeting someone new by signing up to dating sites.'

A spokesperson for Jamie confirmed the divorce, adding that it was an 'extremely difficult time for Jamie and Alejandra' as the family navigates their future. Jamie met Alejandra, who is from Colombia, in 2008 while she was a business student in London. They married two years later in Dunblane, Scotland, with Andy Murray serving as best man.

This summer, Jamie returned to Wimbledon for the first time since his brother's retirement. Despite first-round exits in men's and mixed doubles, he remains optimistic about his career, stating: 'I still want to play next year for sure. My body still feels pretty good.'
