Slot also addressed the intense speculation surrounding the club, noting, "There was a lot of noise around the club in the last week – maybe I should say weeks – but I think our fans showed today what noise really means." His comments now carry added weight as Liverpool face the prospect of entering the remainder of the season with a patched-up defence.
