Total Fire Bans Enacted Across Key Districts
In response to the severe forecast, authorities have declared total fire bans in three critical areas. The affected districts are:
- The Central district, encompassing Melbourne and Geelong.
- The South-West district.
- The Wimmera district.
These bans are a direct precaution against the elevated fire danger posed by the combination of extreme heat, dry vegetation, and potential winds.
