Clarkson's Farm Season 5 Filming Timeline

Prime Video's hit show Clarkson's Farm has returned for its eagerly awaited fifth series this week (Wednesday, 3rd June). The popular programme chronicles former Top Gear and The Grand Tour host Jeremy Clarkson as he manages his Diddly Squat Farm in Chipping Norton, alongside partner Lisa Hogan and farmer Kaleb Cooper.

When Was Season 5 Filmed?

Filming for season 5 commenced nearly two years before its broadcast. The opening episode features Clarkson's emergency heart surgery, which took place in October 2024. He officially confirmed the series was underway with a social media post in November 2024, showcasing a drone display of the number '5' in the night sky.

Production ran from November 2024 through to September 2025, when Clarkson shared a photograph on Instagram with the caption: "Season 5. It's a wrap."

What Happens in Season 5?

After a successful heart procedure, Clarkson returns to Diddly Squat under strict orders to rest and monitor his diet. However, he quickly dives back into farm life, dealing with unruly sheep, snail slime, and the unexpectedly complex business of running a Santa's Grotto.

While a sixth series is anticipated for summer 2027, shooting was hampered by adverse weather and agricultural restrictions, potentially delaying the next chapter.

Clarkson's Farm season 5 continues Wednesdays on Prime Video.
