Norris Nuts List North Bondi Home After $5M Renovation

The Norris Nuts, a wildly popular Australian YouTube family, have officially listed their magnificent North Bondi property for sale. This internet sensation, comprised of Olympic swimmer Justin Norris, his wife Brooke, and their six children—Sabre (21), Sockie (19), Biggy (17), Naz (15), Disco (7), and Charm (6)—boasts an impressive following of over 8 million subscribers on the platform.

Substantial Investment and Ambitious Renovation

Justin and Brooke initially acquired the property in 2022 for a substantial $15.2 million. Since then, they have invested a further $5 million into an extensive and ambitious renovation project. The Wentworth Courier reported that the family commissioned architect Nick Tobias and builders 3M to transform the existing shell into a stylish and modern six-bedroom residence.

A Home Designed for Luxury and Light

The expansive two-storey home maximises its prime coastal location, offering sweeping, elevated ocean views over the iconic Bondi Beach. Designed to capture natural light, the property features a series of skylights that bathe the interior in sunlight.

The chef's kitchen is a highlight, crafted from luxurious Calcutta marble and featuring floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto a private backyard. This outdoor space includes a sun deck and a refreshing plunge pool.

Five of the six well-appointed bedrooms come with built-in wardrobes, while the master suite elevates luxury with a boutique-style walk-in wardrobe and a private ensuite bathroom. Throughout the home, European oak floors and high ceilings add to the sense of space and elegance. The chic mosaic bathrooms are fitted with modern comforts like heated floors and towel rails.

Property Portfolio and Security Measures

The publication also revealed that Justin and Brooke are currently in the process of rebuilding the home next door, which they purchased in 2023 for $14.2 million. Interestingly, the now-listed property was originally intended to be gifted to their six children. However, the Norris Nuts have reportedly relocated to another investment property they own in North Bondi.

The family's move towards heightened security became public in 2022 when they spent a remarkable $176,000 on a specially trained guard dog named Demi, a German Shepherd flown in from the UK. This breed of protection dog is highly sought-after, often commanding prices comparable to a high-end Porsche sports car.

In a YouTube video at the time, eldest daughter Sabre Norris expressed the family's concerns, stating she had been 'feeling so unsafe lately' and wanted peace of mind. 'It sucks that we just don't feel that safe, but I think Demi will be able to help us,' she said. The family confirmed the purchase, calling Demi 'the best'.

Short-Lived Security Partnership

Leedor Borlant, who trained Demi at the UK-based Protection Dog Worldwide service, said in a social media video that the dog was destined for an Australian family with security concerns, confident she would protect them 'at all costs'. However, this partnership proved brief. The family parted ways with Demi after just a few months, and the dog was temporarily rehomed by fitness influencer Kayla Itsines and her husband Jae Woodruffe.

A Social Media Empire

Originally from Newcastle, New South Wales, The Norris Nuts have built a gargantuan social media empire, amassing over 20 million subscribers across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Their content primarily consists of kid-friendly vlogs, challenges, and high-energy lifestyle videos. They also manage several successful YouTube channels, including Norris Nuts Do Stuff, Norris Nuts Gaming, and Norris Nuts Cooking.
