Lidl is set to release a foldable garden chair next weekend that is 50% cheaper than a comparable model from Argos. The Livarno Aluminium Folding Chair will be available in stores nationwide from Sunday, July 12, priced at just £19.99, down from its original retail price of £34.99, offering shoppers a 42% saving.

Argos sells a similar product, the Home Set of Two Metal Garden Chairs, for £80, which works out at £40 each. This makes Lidl's chair over £20 cheaper per unit, representing a 50% price difference. The chair is described as ideal for balconies, gardens, and patios.
Design and Features
The Livarno Aluminium Folding Chair is crafted from a lightweight, powder-coated aluminium frame that is resistant to weather, rust, and UV rays. It features a supportive fabric covering, easy-care plastic armrests, and seven adjustable backrest positions for personalized comfort. The chair can be folded away for easy storage and comes with a three-year warranty. Non-slip feet ensure floor-friendliness, even on wet surfaces.

The launch coincides with forecasts of a UK heatwave, with temperatures expected to reach 34°C in parts of the country. The Met Office has issued yellow heat health warnings across England.
