Last Chance: Bose QuietComfort Earbuds at £129, £50 Off at Currys
Bose QuietComfort Earbuds £129, £50 Off at Currys

Music fans seeking an audio upgrade have only hours left to secure a significant discount on Bose's latest wireless earbuds. Currys is selling the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds for £129, marking a £50 reduction from the £179 retail price. This offer ends at 11:59pm UK time on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

Superior Noise Cancellation and Sound Quality

At £129, these earbuds are £40 cheaper than Apple's AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). However, the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds outperform the AirPods in both ANC and audio quality, according to Deputy Technology Editor Henry Burrell. Unlike the AirPods 4, the Bose buds feature in-ear tips that create a seal, making the ANC far more effective at blocking external noise.

The QuietComfort Earbuds sit below the premium QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds in Bose's lineup, but the cheaper model offers comparable performance. Burrell noted after testing that there is little extra benefit from choosing the pricier version. The ANC is adjustable via the Bose app, and the EQ can be customised for optimal audio, with Bose's renowned noise cancellation and bass response on full display.

Design and Fit Features

The earbuds have a round outward-facing design, distinguishing them from AirPods, and the flat surface functions as a touch pad for play, pause, volume, and switching between ANC and transparency modes. Bose's silicone ear tips are non-circular, ensuring a more comfortable and secure fit than many rivals. Multiple sizes of tips and stability bands—small silicone wing tips that lodge in the outer ear—are included, making the buds ideal for exercise or for users who struggle with earbuds falling out.

Potential drawbacks include sound quality that is slightly inferior to the Ultra model, and call quality for hands-free calls is not great. Nevertheless, the deal offers strong value. A cheaper alternative is the Nothing Ear (a) at Amazon for £48.99 (down from £59), which provides 42.5 hours of battery life with the case, ANC, and a transparent design.

Availability and Alternatives

At the time of writing, the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds are also available for £129 in several colours from Amazon. Shoppers must act quickly before the Currys promotion expires at midnight on July 7.
