One lane remains closed on the M62 eastbound this morning after a crash involving a wagon and a car, causing delays for motorists near Warrington.

Traffic monitoring service Inrix reported at 7:56am on Friday, July 3, that lane one was closed and traffic had slowed due to an accident on the M62 eastbound between junction 10 at the Croft Interchange and junction 11 at Birchwood.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police told the Liverpool ECHO that officers from British Transport Police were traveling along the motorway when they came across a minor crash between two vehicles, believed to be a wagon and a car. There are no reports of any injuries, but Cheshire Police are at the scene assisting British Transport Police.
