Incident Details

A four-year-old boy sustained serious injuries after being struck by a black Range Rover on Nelson Road in Gillingham, Kent, at approximately 4:12 PM on Friday, July 3. Kent Police confirmed the child was crossing the road prior to the collision.

Emergency Response

Officers and paramedics attended the scene, and the boy was transported to a London hospital, where he remains in serious condition. The road was closed to facilitate an investigation by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU).
