Former Apprentice contestant Lottie Lion has spoken out about being sexually assaulted on a train earlier this year. The 22-year-old shared her story on TikTok, detailing the attack that occurred while she was travelling alone.
On 24 March, Lottie was waiting on the platform at Reading station for a train to Bristol Temple Meads around 10pm. While on the phone to a friend, she was approached by three men. One pulled down her top and took a photo of her chest, prompting her to board the train in an attempt to escape.
However, the men followed her into the carriage. Lottie recalled that one of them sexually assaulted her while the other two filmed the incident on a mobile phone. She said she had chosen a busy carriage as advised, but the men entered and looked directly at her.
A conductor quickly intervened after a passerby explained the situation, and Lottie was moved to a first-class carriage for safety. She praised the British Transport Police, who she contacted via the number 61016, for their swift response. Officers met the train at the next station and arrested all three men.
Lottie was later taken to Victim Support by police, who ensured she was not left alone. She commended the authorities for making her feel safe and urged other women to report similar incidents. Metro.co.uk has contacted Lottie and the Transport Police for comment.
