Wanted Man Taunts Police with Topless Selfie

Nathan Muir, a 32-year-old man wanted on recall to prison, appears to have taunted Greater Manchester Police by posting a topless selfie in the comments of their Facebook wanted appeal. The image, captioned 'Could of done a better pic', was liked hundreds of times.

Police Appeal and Muir's Response

On Friday, GMP's Wythenshawe division issued an appeal for information on Muir, who has no fixed address but links to Wythenshawe, Hale, and Altrincham. The post stated: 'Nathan Muir (23/09/1994) of no fixed abode, is wanted on recall to prison.' Shortly after, a Facebook profile under the name 'Nay Muir' posted a topless selfie with the caption 'Could of done a better pic [sic].'

Public Reaction and AI-Generated Images

The Manchester Evening News reported that the selfie garnered hundreds of likes. Subsequently, AI-generated images of Muir drinking a pint and sunbathing outside Wythenshawe police station were also posted.
