A heroic security guard lost his life while attempting to save others when two teenagers opened fire at a mosque in California.

Amin Abdullah, a father of eight, was among those killed when Cain Clark, 17, and Caleb Vazquez, 18, opened fire at the Islamic Center of San Diego at approximately 11:40 a.m. on Monday.
According to Police Chief Scott Wahl, Abdullah quickly sprang into action to protect others. The chief made the remarks during a news conference, praising the guard's bravery.
