Stirling Stabbing: Two Men Injured, Attempted Murder Probe

Two men have been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a stabbing incident at a retail park in Stirling, prompting a police investigation into attempted murder.

Incident Details

The attack occurred outside a unit at Burghmuir Retail Park, off Burghmuir Road, at approximately 7:15 pm on Saturday, Police Scotland confirmed. The victims, aged 46 and 38, sustained stab wounds and were transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. Their injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.

Police Investigation

Authorities are treating the incident as attempted murder and have launched an extensive investigation. Detective Chief Inspector Scott Roxburgh stated: "Our enquiries to establish what happened are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have information which may help to get in touch."

Police are also conducting inquiries at nearby Colquhoun Street. DCI Roxburgh added: "I would ask anyone who witnessed any disturbance in these areas on Saturday evening, or who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage, to get in touch."
