A tragic two-car collision on the A92 in Fife has resulted in the death of an 87-year-old man and left two children hospitalised. The incident occurred on Saturday morning at approximately 10.40am, involving a red Dacia Sandero and a blue Vauxhall Astra.

The elderly man, who was driving the Dacia Sandero, succumbed to his injuries after being transported to Ninewells Hospital. His passenger, an 88-year-old woman, was also taken to the same medical facility for treatment. In the other vehicle, the 32-year-old driver of the Vauxhall Astra and his two child passengers, aged seven and 13, were hospitalised as well, though their current conditions remain undisclosed.
