Katie Price's former boyfriend Dane Bowers has branded her husband Lee Andrews as “full of c***” in a new interview, accusing him of lying about their prior acquaintance. The 46-year-old pop star, who dated Price between 1998 and 2000, told Closer magazine that Andrews had falsely claimed the two had met and that Bowers had DJed for him – a statement Bowers flatly denies.
Bowers Calls Out Andrews's Claims
“He had told her that we’d met and I had DJ’ed for him, which is b*******,” Bowers said. “I don’t understand how he can say things, fully knowing that he’s going to get found out within seconds that he’s talking c***.” Bowers, a former member of boybands 5th Story and Boyz On Block, described his own relationship with Price as a “young crazy thing” with “great memories,” but made clear he has no connection to Andrews.
Price's Relationship History
Price, 48, has been married four times since her split with Bowers: to Peter Andre (2005-2009), Alex Reid (2010-2012), Kieran Hayler (2013-2021), and now Lee Andrews, whom she has called her soulmate. Bowers's comments come as Price prepares to release a documentary titled “Katie Price: Nothing to Hide” on Wednesday, which will cover her life and relationships.
Price Emotional Over Peter Andre
The documentary reportedly caused Price to become emotional when discussing ex-husband Peter Andre, forcing a pause in filming. Price told the Mail: “Some of the places they took me back to meant I had to put myself back into those situations. I found a lot of that difficult. My brain would go fuzzy because I didn't want to think about how I felt then.” Director Paddy Wivell added that the process exhausted her, noting she had “barely spent five minutes in a room alone with Peter since their split.”
Bowers Invested in the 'Soap Opera'
Despite his criticism, Bowers admitted he is now “invested in the story” of Price and Andrews's relationship, which he likened to a soap opera. While Bowers is set to appear in the documentary, Andre has declined to participate.
