A man in his 20s has died after being stabbed in a car park in Wolverhampton city centre in the early hours of the morning. Emergency services were called to Clarence Street at around 3am following reports of an attack.
Victim found with chest injury
Upon arrival, police and paramedics discovered the victim with a serious injury to his chest. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect arrested
West Midlands Police have arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of murder. The suspect remains in custody as investigations continue.
Detectives are working to establish the circumstances leading up to the stabbing. They are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
