The Dubai getaway follows Abbey's recent candid revelations about her everyday life. In an interview, she shed light on her hectic schedule and health-conscious habits, developed after a period of overindulgence during the Covid-19 lockdowns.
Her day typically begins at 6:30 am with a coffee, while her children eat croissants, before the chaotic school run. "Once all four kids are at school my day can begin," she explained. Abbey maintains a disciplined fitness regime, going to the gym daily, and spends an hour practising dressage with her horse, Enzo.
She and Peter also record their popular podcast, The Therapy Crouch, once a week. Lunch might be a simple chicken sandwich on podcast days, or a weekly girly lunch with friends featuring pasta and a bellini. Dinner is usually cooked by Abbey herself, with recent meals including dauphinoise potatoes with steak.
Reflecting on lifestyle changes, Abbey admitted, "We overdid the wine during Covid so we're trying to drink less." This is a conscious shift from the earlier 'WAG' culture she experienced when Peter played for England.
