I'm A Celebrity Finale Sparks Over 1,000 Ofcom Complaints Amid Bullying Claims

The finale of I'm A Celebrity... South Africa has drawn more than 1,000 complaints to Ofcom after a chaotic live show. Adam Thomas was crowned winner, but the victory was overshadowed by on-stage confrontations and allegations of bullying.

During the final, former footballer Jimmy Bullard accused Thomas of being 'intimidating, aggressive and abusive' following a trial. Tensions also flared with boxer David Haye, who had been accused of bullying the Emmerdale actor in the jungle. Haye later dismissed the behaviour as 'banter'.

Some campers walked off set, forcing hosts Ant and Dec to intervene. Ofcom received 1,187 complaints, mostly about alleged bullying by Bullard and Haye towards Thomas throughout the series.

Thomas later described the experience as 'tarnished' on his podcast. He said: 'The fact that it's just been turned into entertainment for live TV, for a family show that I loved... it's tarnished for me.' He added that he felt he had 'sold his soul' and would not repeat the experience for any amount of money.
