Alan Carr Addresses Paloma Faith Friendship After Celebrity Traitors Betrayal

Alan Carr has spoken about the state of his friendship with Paloma Faith after betraying her on the BBC series The Celebrity Traitors. The comedian, playing a Traitor, 'murdered' Faith by touching her face in plain sight, sealing her fate on the show.

After her exit, Faith expressed disappointment, saying on The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked: 'If the shoe was on the other foot, I would not have touched Alan’s face. Categorically, he had a choice – maybe it was the easiest option, but it was the choice he made and I don’t think it was very nice.'

On his Life’s a Beach podcast, Carr said: 'I’m killing people. I’ve killed Paloma Faith. Tom Daley, I can’t stop killing.' When co-host Norman Cook asked if they were still mates, Carr replied: 'Well I was…I’ll tell you. I’ve killed Paloma Faith she’s not happy about it.' He added: 'There’s been a few, let’s just say little TikTok-y things where she says I’ve let her down because I killed her in plain sight. I was desperate and she went, "if you were a real friend you wouldn’t have killed me" but I said I’m the traitor. The show’s called The Traitors.'

Faith, 44, who is pregnant with her third child, previously said of her experience: 'I found it quite nerve-racking because, because I knew when I went in that I have a huge personality and that I'd be very visible.' She shares two daughters with ex-partner Leyman Lahcine.
