Amy Schumer is living it up this summer, and she is showing off her dramatically slimmer figure while doing so. The 44-year-old comedian turned heads on Wednesday after sharing a glamorous glimpse inside her luxury yacht getaway, with fans quickly noticing her thinner-than-ever frame amid her ongoing 50lb weight loss journey.
Yacht Getaway Photos
In a series of sun-drenched Instagram snaps, the I Feel Pretty star flaunted her shrinking physique in a stylish swimsuit. Other photos showed Schumer looking every inch the Hollywood bombshell in a silky satin gown as she posed aboard the lavish boat. Simply captioned 'Travel,' the 20-photo carousel captured the actress jet skiing, paddle boarding, and lounging on deck with friends. One sweet snap also featured her seven-year-old son Gene, whom she shares with estranged husband Chris Fischer, curled up on her lap during the scenic escape.
Health Scare and Candid Remarks
The glamorous post comes just days after Schumer opened up about a 'botched' medical procedure that left her struggling with intimacy. 'I actually had, kind of, a botched colonoscopy, so I'm not feeling very sexual,' the actress said on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. The invasive screening involves a camera-fitted tube inserted into the rectum and colon to detect potential signs of colorectal cancer, according to the Mayo Clinic. Despite the health scare, Schumer said the experience hasn't dulled her outlook, admitting: 'I feel happier than I've ever been before.'
Weight Loss Journey
Schumer has spoken candidly about her recent weight loss journey, previously revealing which medication finally delivered results after earlier struggles with Ozempic. Back in March 2025, the comedian shared on social media that she had found success using the diabetes and weight loss drug Mounjaro, which she said worked far better for her than rival medication Wegovy. She had previously admitted that Ozempic left her feeling severely unwell.
'Three years ago, I tried Wegovy,' she said online. 'I was puking, I couldn't handle it. I don't know if they've changed the formula, whatever. But anyway, I went on this Telehealth meeting with Midi Health, and it was cheap. I wanted to try it myself 'cause I wanted to recommend it to my friends who are nurses and teachers.' Schumer went on to gush over the results, saying: 'My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy, I want to get down more, if you know what I mean - I'm talking about sex. So that's been great and Mounjaro's been great.'
Split from Chris Fischer
The Trainwreck star's noticeable weight loss also comes in the wake of her split from Fischer, with whom she separated in December 2025 before filing for divorce the following January. 'Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after seven years,' the star wrote on Instagram at the time. 'We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.' Schumer later joked that neither her dramatic weight loss nor Fischer being a 'hot James Beard award-winning chef who can still pull some hot tail' had anything to do with their split. She closed her post on a warm note, adding: 'Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever.'
The pair were first linked in November 2017 after being spotted sharing a candlelit dinner in New York City. Just a few months after going Instagram official in February 2018, they tied the knot in an intimate Malibu ceremony attended by around 80 guests, including Jennifer Aniston and Larry David. Schumer later shared wedding photos on Instagram, simply captioning the carousel: 'Yup.'
