Rebecca Judd's Christmas Flight Drama: Storm Delays Spark 'Ruined' Fears
Bec Judd's flight delayed by Melbourne storms

Television presenter and AFL WAG Rebecca Judd has publicly shared her frustration after a turbulent flight to Melbourne was significantly delayed by severe stormy weather, sparking fears her Christmas celebrations could be ruined.

Flight Chaos Over Melbourne

The 42-year-old took to social media on Sunday to post a photo from aboard a Qantas flight, capturing her looking visibly frustrated mid-journey. Judd revealed the aircraft had missed its initial landing approach into Melbourne due to the poor conditions, forcing it to circle above the clouds.

"Missed landing approach into Melbourne. We were down and then we weren't. Lucky we are flying 'no crashes' Qantas," she told her followers. Judd added a pointed comment about the city's infamous weather, writing, "Melbourne - always delivering the worst weather."

Christmas Saved as Plane Touches Down

Fortunately, the tense situation was soon resolved. Her flight managed to land safely at Melbourne Airport shortly after. A relieved Judd shared a follow-up clip of herself smiling in her seat as the plane touched down on the tarmac.

"Christmas isn't ruined! Thanks Qantas," she wrote alongside the footage, expressing her gratitude to the airline for navigating the challenging conditions.

Judd's Unconventional £950 Christmas Tree Revealed

Earlier this month, the style influencer had already turned heads by unveiling her festive decorations for 2025. No stranger to unconventional displays, Judd showcased a unique, abstract Christmas tree made entirely of paper.

The expandable, fold-out tree by the brand Neue Blvd retails for a substantial $1,200 (approximately £950). In an Instagram post, she asked her followers, "We went with white but how good does the Ruby look?" The tree stood without any traditional baubles or tinsel.

Despite its departure from tradition, fans were quick to praise the minimalist design. One admirer commented, "That Ruby tree looks bloody hot, can't see any tag, I'd be keen to investigate."

This follows last year's display, which featured an array of pink and silver acrylic trees from the same brand in her hallway. The large pieces retailed for up to $1,550.

Judd hinted at the attention her non-traditional trees attract, referencing her 2016 'Scandi-style' tree made from recycled branches, which was widely discussed online. She lives in a $7.3million Melbourne mansion with her former AFL star husband Chris Judd and their four children.
