Bobby Brazier's Hare Krishna Faith 'Secret to Strictly Success'

Bobby Brazier, the 20-year-old EastEnders actor, has reportedly found the secret to his success on Strictly Come Dancing in an unexpected faith: Hare Krishna. The star, who has been impressing judges and viewers alike, has been practising meditation with his dance partner Dianne Buswell, a key aspect of the Hindu offshoot.

A TV insider told The Sun: 'Bobby's belief in Hare Krishna has been the secret to his success while on the show, as it helps him remain calm, grounded and focused.' The source noted that his image as a 'snake-hipped pin-up' contrasts with typical devotees, but he joins a line of artists like George Harrison and Boy George who have followed the faith.

Before a recent performance, Brazier shared an Instagram video describing a visit to a Hare Krishna temple. He said: 'I had an experience earlier... when I went in and when I went out, the same person was standing outside. And they said to me: 'Wow, you look so much happier now you have come out from when you went in.' And it was so true.'

Brazier added: 'I've been searching through many different phases for the same thing that we're all searching for... bliss and love and knowledge and peace and contentment.' He praised the devotees as 'beautiful, happy, content, smart, intelligent people.'

The news comes amid reports that Brazier is 'besotted' with his ex-girlfriend, Waterloo Road star Tillie Amartey, also 20. A source told The Mirror that he has been 'constantly messaging' her and invited her to watch him perform on Strictly, though she is based in Manchester and has not yet decided whether to attend.
